Tuition fees apply to our standard-priced lessons and are best suited to those who practice actively and more than once a week. For tuition fees, the price per hour is around €7-14 per hour, depending on the length of the lesson. One-off fees apply to our standard-priced classes and for one-off fees, the price of a class is between €15 and €24 per hour.

There are 16 study weeks in the autumn semester and 18 study weeks in the spring semester. Teaching weeks include demonstrations and their additional rehearsals.

Discounts

• The 3rd course and subsequent courses for the same person -25% of the course price.
• The total price of courses for the same person is up to €900 in the autumn semester and €1000 in the spring semester. Paying this Anytime price allows you to attend an unlimited number of courses at no extra cost.
• Family discount for people living in the same household €10. The discount is applied once per semester and applies to one course for one family member.
• Pensioner discount €10. The discount is taken into account once per semester and applies to one course.
• Student discount with student card €10. The discount is taken into account once per semester and applies to one course.
• Discount for dancers in EK groups. If they choose at least four courses per academic year, dancers in EK groups will receive a 50% discount on their 4th course instead of the 25% discount.

Payment

If total tuition fees per payer are under €350, they are billed in one part. For payments split into 2–4 installments (upon request), a €5 service fee will be added. Invoices over €350 are split into installments free of charge. Invoices are sent via payment link to the email provided during registration. Upon request, invoices can be sent by post or as a PDF via email.

If you plan to pay using cultural/sports benefits (for adults), request an alternative billing method, or need to split payments, this must be indicated during registration or reported to This email address is being protected from spambots. If someone else is paying your invoice, their information must be provided in the billing section during registration.

A reminder fee of €5 will be charged for reminders issued after the due date. Invoices are collected by Lowell Ltd. Collection costs become the payer’s responsibility once the collection process starts, one business day before the first collection letter is sent. Participation in classes is not allowed if the invoice is unpaid by the due date or if no prior payment agreement is made.

Free places

Hurja Piruet has the opportunity to grant free student places or discounts on tuition fees when applying separately. Places and discounts are decided by the board of the association.

The decision is influenced by both the financial situation and the study motivation.You can apply for a free student place on 31 August. (autumn semester / full academic year) or 31.1. (spring semester). Late applications will not be processed. The application is a free-form, written and signed statement stating the period for which the free place or discount is being applied for. In addition, the application must be accompanied by a statement of the financial situation. Applications must be sent by post to Hurja Piruetti / Katja Köngäs, Keskuskatu 86–88, 10300 Karjaa or returned in a sealed envelope with attachments to the dance class.
